OMG! ARMOUR STAR! My dad works at that factory and I remember that line when I worked there! Fort Madison, Iowa! It always smelled bad
Radioactive Life
Spam is the most popular canned meat brand in the world, and it is made up of only six-ingredients: pork, water, salt, potato starch, sugar and sodium nitrate.

just for anyone wondering
tryten9
Mystery canned meat, refried beans and government cheese on a tortilla.

If you have ever been truly hungry you would understand this was a meal of kings. I grew up poor and this was Friday night dinner.
Laura Macdonald
Hahahaha. I’m American and hate all meat in a can! I feel like you all did if I smell it!
Aria Leitner
I really hate normal canned meat. BUT I do like Roast beef & corned beef hash. Aaaaand if I was super broke and needed food... I mean. That's pretty much who eats the stuff, lol
Patrick Jones
I actually like it. Grew up on it.
Aaron Sutherland
Spam-ghetto steak
romebigred2
1, no, Dermot, NOT on toast. Crackers is correct.

2, NOBODY in America actually eats this. (Except me. I admit it's super nasty, but I.... Like it.)
Angela m
Honestly I've never had any of these. And completely lost it when he said"There's alot of juices in there"😟
hiko73
'Ooohh, that just went in way too easy.' Dermot! That's what she said. And that's why it was weird, sweet pickle relish & mayo is mixed in with the deviled ham and it's totally palatable. Promise!
(I don't know but maybe works with the others as well....if you wanna try it)
Joi Bradley
This attitude is why you all starved and then ended up here with Americans giving you a new home and taking care of you. Own it. Y'all are heading down another dark hole now. And y'all are kinda anti-American now. So now what?
Ben M
*before watching*

I swear to god if you don't thinly slice the spam and fry it for maximum crunchiness...

*after watching*

God damnit.
Eric Thom
Add mayonnaise and green onion to the deviled ham and it’s not bad
Jade Obsession
i hate all that stuff, lolz
Runs4Drinks
My mum ate this stuff all the time when I was growing up. I never got it.
Jeannette Record

Curtis kukuk
WOW......! YOUTUBE'S NEW FORMAT IS FUCKIN' STUPID!!!!
Stephanie Hopkins
My papa loved potted meat. Thought it was delicious on white bread. It is far too salty imho. Haha
MD Jester
Anyone else had to live on potted meat before?

Huge shout out to Alex Sanderstrom for sending us a bunch of Jeff's Beef Jerky, which is certainly some damn fine real American beef jerky. This isn't an ad or anything - Alex was just super nice to send us some jerky for our Tryers to see what the real deal was actually like! So, thanks again, Alex! :D
