Featured Animals:
#1 Phorusrhacidae - Giant birds

#7 Paraceratherium - Giant Hornless Rhino
It lived in Eurasia from 34ñ23 million years ago. It is one of the largest land mammal known. Its exact size is unclear because of the incompleteness of the fossils. The size of adults was about 4.8 metres (16 ft) tall, about 7.4 metres (24 ft) in length.

#8 Titanomyrma - The Giant Ant.
The latest species to be discovered, T. lubei, was found in 2011, when a 49.5 million year old fossil winged queen ant, size of a humming bird, was found in Wyoming. This fossil is the first fossil of a giant ant found in the Western Hemisphere.

#9 Platyceramus - Giant Clam
Individuals of this species typically reached 1 m (3 ft 3 in) or
more in axial length, but fossil specimens 3 m (nearly 10 feet) long have been found
