Most musical instruments have high barriers to entry that are physical, technical, or financial. Keith Groover designed an instrument that lowers all of those barriers without sacrificing musicality or depth of expression. His two year design exploration resulted in The Glide, an instrument that combines the power of the microcontroller with a tiny sensor called an accelerometer.
Keith Groover is a musician, guitar teacher, inventor, and life-long tinkerer. He teaches at North Greenville University, plays guitar for the instrumental guitar/cello duo WireWood, and leads music at Grace Presbyterian Church. He is an inventor of innovative new musical instruments.
