How I Overcame My Fear of Public Speaking How to sound smart in your TEDx 2 days ago   08:36

TEDx Talks
Communication is the most important skill for personal and professional success. In this talk, Danish Dhamani discusses how overcoming your fear of public speaking is key to leading a fulfilling life and unlocking your true potential. Danish’s vision is to empower everyone around the world to overcome their fear of public speaking and to become a better communicator. As a first generation immigrant, for whom English is a second language, the fear of public speaking haunted Danish throughout his early life. By constant practicing and coaching, he soon realized that people are not born public speakers; instead public speaking is a learn-able skill. This is what inspired Danish to create Orai, a mobile app that uses artificial intelligence to improve your speaking ability. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at

My rational thinking completely collases even raising my hand in class. My heart starts racing, I start hyperventilating and I think about all the things I'm doing wrong.

This video was so misleading. I watched it because I'm taking a public speaking class right now. His speech seemed dishonest because it was basically an AD for his app, so he could get rich. He's not a professional speaker. He didn't walk the floor, he did have any visual aids to support his sub-points. His introduction seemed made up and his conclusion was an demonstration of his app. Make no mistake this was not a professional speaker it was an advertisement.

How to sound smart in your TEDx How I Overcame My Fear of Public Speaking 2 days ago   05:56

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences.

In a hilarious talk capping off a day of new ideas at TEDxNewYork, professional funny person Will Stephen shows foolproof presentation skills to make you sound brilliant -- even if you are literally saying nothing. (Full disclosure: This talk is brought to you by two TED staffers, who have watched a LOT of TED Talks.)
