Anthony Pettis joins Ariel Helwani's MMA Show to talk about his upcoming UFC 241 bout against Nate Diaz. Pettis explains that while Diaz is a "tough dude, he turns it on for the cameras" and now it's time to back it up. Pettis tells Ariel that Dana White contacted him to fight Conor McGregor in New York City, but that never materialized so he hung back and kept his head down, and was contacted about Nate Diaz. Pettis says that if he had the choice to fight Conor McGregor or Nate Diaz he would take Diaz all day.

My $ is on Nate. He’ll smoke a ton of herb, talk a bunch of trash before, during, and after the fight, and mop the floor with this dude who is without a doubt, a worthy adversary, no less. Should be exciting.

Diaz by decision. The trilogy next. Diaz will be Conors next fight. Interest is waning fellas.....

Call me crazy but ummm, when the hell was there legit "beef" with Nate and Pettis? Thirsty for a fight build up mutch!? 🤔🤷‍♂️
Outside of the fact that the Diaz brothers have beef with the world lol...
Pettis doesn't come to mind as one of the fighters the Diaz camp EVER had legit beef with, js....

You know for nick diaz being suspended 5 years for weed while in a fight with Silva who failed, and not being allowed in nates corner during, and nate fighting everyone and never getting a belt opportunity when hes deserved it more then most he has every right to have a sketchy history with dana an the ufc. Hes never bailed a fight n only turned down fights for more money. Hell pull bigger crowds then 90% of the ufc roster. Besides these dudes dont spend money and do triathlons year round. So he dont need to fight or prove nothing.
Robert Moya
Nate gonna get his ass whooped like never before
sariah reigns
ettis please hype this fight name call do whatever you need to to get this fight DONE!
Rudy Reyes
Nate diaz all the way 💪🔥

Im pretty sure the fights Nate has pulled out of were because of contract issues. Considering how long he has worked for the ufc he is severely underpaid like the majority of the fighters. I am not including when he fought Conor both times. If this fight does happen I could see Pettis being the first guy to knock Diaz out.

Antonio - dont get your hopes up.. Diaz is a pull out merchant... Now he is an opportunist.. He has tasted a bit of money and wants to snap the shine off other people rather than build his own... The man has no credibility... My advice.. dont waste your time... the man is not going to turn up...

Pettis all day ala verga el Nate

Never heard Peyton like this

Douglas Lima: 50 Cent didn’t Anthony Pettis: Fighting Nate 2 days ago   15:59

Douglas Lima joins Ariel Helwani's MMA Show after knocking out Michael "Venom" Page at Bellator 221 to break down the fight. Lima tells Helwani he was really focused on fighting Page and didn't let his antics get to him, which is why he was able to get the KO, and that while some see it as disrespectful he views it as part of Page's game plan and understands it. Lima also tells Ariel that he "got hurt" from a strike by Page right before he knocked him out. (14:29) Lima closes it out by discussing 50 Cent not looking too happy after the fight and how the rapper didn’t “show some love.”
