Notre Dame Cathedral Fire: French billionaires pledge $339 2 days ago   19:50

DW News
French President Emmanuel Macron is vowing to rebuild the Notre Dame Cathedral, after a blaze destroyed much of the 12th-century church late on Monday. The exact cause is still unknown, but firefighters say it is now under control and partially extinguished. Authorities say the cathedral's structure was largely saved, but the fire gutted its roof and caused its spire to collapse. One firefighter was injured during the blaze. Many valuable artworks inside were lost or damaged. And, people around the world are lamenting the devastation of an architectural jewel that has survived well over eight centuries and is a symbol of France's heritage.

When we research on the history of the Catholic church.

Revelation 18 [NIV]

[vs: 2] With a mighty voice he shouted:
“Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!
She has become a home for demons
and a haunt for every evil spirit,
a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.

Revelation 18 [NIV]

[vs: 15] The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn

[vs: 16] and cry out:
“‘Woe! Woe, O great city,
dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet,
and glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls!

[vs: 17] In one hour such great wealth has been brought to ruin!’
“Every sea captain, and all who travel by ship, the sailors, and all who earn their living from the sea, will stand far off.

[vs: 18] When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim, ‘Was there ever a city like this great city?’

[vs: 19] They will throw dust on their heads, and with weeping and mourning cry out:
“‘Woe! Woe, O great city,
where all who had ships on the sea
became rich through her wealth!
In one hour she has been brought to ruin!

[vs: 20] Rejoice over her, O heaven!
Rejoice, saints and apostles and prophets!
God has judged her for the way she treated you.’”

Glad to hear firefighters are safe.

Not everyone is mourning. The French President and his staff certainly weren't crying. It's all hype over controlled burns of these buildings.
Money, money, money.
Your towns are flooded.
You've lost your homes.
You've lost your transportation.
You've lost your livelihood, farms, and vineyards.
Who cares?
Let's distract you, the world, with controlled burns of Catholic churches.
Money, money, money.
And hours of disinformation.
Let's not look at the true losses of humanity.
Let's just look at and focus on........... anything but the people.

"This World is Gimme, Gimme, Gimme. You're Taught That in School, Big Business, Everywhere. If You Want To Be Successful, You Want To Be Like Trump ? Gimme, Gimme, Gimme. Push, Push, Push. Step, Step, Step. Crush, Crush, Crush.

There's Too Much Money Here. No One Should Be Hitting The Lotto For $36 Million and We Got People Starving In The Streets. That's Not Idealistic, That's Just Real. There's No Way Michael Jackson, or Whoever, Should Have $100 Million Dollars and There Are People Starving, There's No Way. There's No Way These People Own Planes and There Are People Who Don't Own Houses, Apartments, Shacks, Drawers.

If You Earned It That's Good, You Still Deserve it, But Even If You Earned It You Still Owe. Look At Me, I Don't Have That Mega Money, But I Feel Guilty Walking By Somebody. If I've Got $3,000 in My Pocket, I Feel Like It's Wrong To Give That Person a Quarter. Or a Dollar. It's Wrong. Can You Imagine Having $32 Million and This Person Has Nothing? And You Can Sleep ? You Can Still Go To The Movies ?

And I Think There's a Way To Pay These People. I Think There is a Way. It Just Takes Being Revolutionary. Look, I Know You'Re Rich, I Know You Got $40 Billion, But Can You Keep it To One House ? You've Got Two Kids ? Can You Keep It To Two Rooms ? Why Have 56 Rooms and You Know There's Somebody With No Rooms ? It Just Don't Make Sense To Me."

Do you guys know how difficult to sets up fire on oak wood? If you want, you can try. There is no way this is an accident caused by some electricity issues. Also, you guys can check how many churches has been attacked in last 5 years. This is not an accident, it's a huge group of dangerous people. Who hate church so much? Which group of people came to Paris in last five years?
You all know the truth.

*Notre Dame is still standing. Ransacked by Huguenots, desecrated during the French Revolution, going thru a 25 years renovation in the 1800s. Notre Dame has seen and suffered everything. The question is: Should it be reconstructed as it was after the 1800s renovation or Should it be reconstructed as it was before the 1800's renovation? The original N.D. didn't have the spire. The spire was added in the 1800s renovation.*

I suspect it's the gargoyles playing with fire atop the roof and one missed to catch! LOL!

I'm not mourning so your title is a lie. In fact I and may Christ followers see this as one less Pagan worship center. Read the bible "it's all going to burn" anyway. Build up your treasures in heaven not hear! Jesus bless you!

French billionaires pledge $339 Notre Dame Cathedral Fire: 2 days ago   10:26

The billionaires behind many of France's top luxury brands have pledged $339 million to help reconstruct Paris' Notre Dame cathedral following a devastating fire. LVMH Group (LVMHF), which owns Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Givenchy, said that the company, along with the family of CEO Bernard Arnault, would put up $226 million. The company said in a statement that the donation showed "solidarity with this national tragedy" and that funds would be used to rebuild this "extraordinary cathedral" and symbol of French heritage and unity.
